Sometimes you’re not quite ready for dynamic 1-on-1 coaching, you’d like to get a taste of following a structured plan, or even trust a plan derived from the experience-based background & decades of working with athletes.
Well here is your opportunity to explore those options;
1) Event-specific plans
Event plans are based around events I’ve had extensive experience with both personally and coaching and usually fall into the Bucket List style of events.
Think Breck Epic, Leadville 100, Unbound, Epic Rides series, 12-24 hour events, Pikes Peak APEX, gravel grinders, etc. From years of personally battling in the trenches at these events alongside preparing athletes for them being in their corner coaching or actually in the feed zones; I have the experience to get you to the finish line.
2) FASTR Plans
FASTR is an acronym for Field-adapted Scientific Trails & Research. Simply put, a cited scientific study turned into a training plan.
No guessing on efficacy or outcomes as they are all proven within the research.
The art involves digging down and digesting a scientific research study, teasing out the methods, and results and refining it down into a real-world training module.
Often these are very intensive as the scientific methods have controls and strict time periods, but the outcomes & results are clearly identified in each modules from % increase in VO2max, TTE (time to exhaustion), threshold output, etc. The study is cited and linked so you can dig in too if you’d like.
**As with any training intervention, individual results may vary within the scope of responders and non-responders.
3) Matheny Endurance Modules
These are plans focus on developing duration-specific intensity that closely correlate to the bodies energy systems.
Think improving FTP (function threshold power), Lactate Threshold, VO2max, Anaerobic Capacity, Aerobic Base, etc. from a module based upon decades of experience of coaching athletes.
These training plans offer more than just workouts, but COME TO LIFE with Coach Notes, detailed Workout descriptions & Pre-Activity Comments intended to guide the athletes understanding. Habits of self-reflection are developed with theses coach suggestions that allow athlete to audible workout intensity & duration or even swap days; putting you in charge & making it more individualized.
